Overview of Equine Vet Manager

Equine Vet Manager has been based on our popular suite of products to date, namely Barefoot Manager, Farriers Manager and Equine Dentists Manager.

Taking the main features of each program and merging them into one package, adding extra features and providing a new look, Equine Vet Manager is a new approach to veterinary software today.

Taking into consideration that popular existing veterinary practice software concentrates on small animal requirements and does not serve the functionality of the modern equine practice, we have developed what is a truly unique product that concentrates on the equine (and large animal) practice.

By utilising the features of the Tablet operating system we have provided not only a unique but modern, flexible, mobile and practical solution. Using the Tablet technology, data input is extremely simple using handwriting technology and light pen drawing capability. Not only that but the product can be used in the field as the technology allows for use in dirty environments and even wearing gloves.

Equine Vet Manager currently includes the following features:-

• Electronic charts for hooves, skeletons and muscles (in addition to those already included)
• Pharmaceutical control
• Comprehensive patient history and treatment
• Sophisticated imaging processes (including scanning of documents)
• Blood work & Laboratory tests
• Anaesthetic records
• Vaccinations
• Surgical procedures
• Full staff support

As the system progresses, the interfaces will be enhanced to support instant accessibility to any of the above features direct from the patient record.
The system will also incorporate a PDA version for even further mobility.
