The Image Manager

Top  Previous  Next

The image manager contains all the treatment images you wish to store against an individual treatment. It is a TIF file consisting of however many individual images you like. This allows you to scroll through each image with access to full screen preview facilities at anytime, together with instant access to editing facilities.

It also provides printing functionality, PDF conversion and of course access to the various media connection utilities.

The area consists of two elements, the top menu line and the toolbar.

The menu line includes options such as scanner setup, access to scanner profiles and zooming facilities.

The toolbar provides options for saving the file (adding to the patient history), opening an previous file (usually handled by our software), adding a new scanned document, re sequencing the documents within the file, deleting documents from the file, access to the Image Editor, access to the scanner, creating a PDF file, printing the file (or individual pages) and various other ways of manipulating the images in the file.

Note: The software itself will provide a filename and save the file where it wants to so you do not need to do anything in that respect other than select Save. If you decide to exit the window without saving you will be prompted to save at that point.

A more dramatic example of the Image Manager is to see an example of a completed file:
