Sending Reminders

When you click on the Days Ahead button on the front panel you will, assuming you have appointments, see the following window.

 

The routine requires that you have your email settings correct and that you have formatted an appointment text record.

 

Automated Appointment Reminders

This will list all the appointments on the number of days ahead chosen. However you should be aware that the numbers shown are selected according to the following strict preference order:

 

1.Any number for the client which is marked as the Preferred Contact Number.
2.A number with a type = SMS
3.A number with a type = EMail

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that these numbers are able to be sent either by SMS or email.

 

Now tag the required records you want to send by clicking in th left hand column and then pressing Send. Hint: Right click in the window for advanced tagging features.

 

Once you press Send the system will use it's internal email software to email the formatted appointment reminder to the email address provided.
