Saving the Master File |
Once you have finished editing your file it can be saved. To do this, simply click on the blue floppy disc on the toolbar (2nd from left). You will now see the following message:
The default is NO to prevent you overwriting the master accidentally. If you really do want to change the master form then select YES. However, if you want to create your own form then select NO. You will now be asked to name the file and it will be saved in another folder to the masters to prevent accidental use of the master form.
Note: You can save the form as General Consent or perhaps Consent for procedure ABC. You can now open the master file again, change it slightly and save it as another custom form this time perhaps called Consent for procedure XYZ. This allows you to create a whole set of your own individual consent forms. |
