This sections outlines how to set up user passwords. This section will be expanded over time as we develop a full access control feature into our software that allows some users access to certain areas of the system whilst preventing others from entering or amending details in various sections. So an example might be that you have 3 levels of security:

 

User 1 can have full access to the entire system.

 

User 2 can have access to the whole system, including accounts but cannot edit any information in the accounts area

 

User 3 has access to the whole system other than the accounts area to which access is denied

 

When the system is first provided, there is no security set up. To access this area click on File on the top menu followed by Security. You will be shown the following window:

To set up a basic security function you need to do 2 things.

 

Set up a User

Set up a password for each User
